Conga lands on Constellation's 2026 ShortList in three pricing categories
The recognition comes as Conga integrates PROS's former B2B pricing business, positioning the combined platform across revenue intelligence, price optimization and CPQ.

Conga, the configure-price-quote and contract lifecycle management vendor, announced it was named to Constellation Research's 2026 ShortList across three separate categories: Revenue Intelligence, Price Optimization, and CPQ. Constellation's ShortLists are compiled from analyst evaluation combined with customer inquiry data, positioned by the firm as a more customer-demand-driven counterpart to vendor-evaluation frameworks like Gartner's Magic Quadrant.
The recognition lands at a pivotal moment for Conga specifically: the company absorbed PROS's B2B pricing and selling business following Thoma Bravo's December 2025 acquisition and split of PROS, meaning the "Conga" evaluated for this ShortList reflects a substantially larger combined platform than the standalone Conga product line from a year earlier.
That timing also explains an apparent tension with Conga's separate placement in Gartner's 2026 CPQ Magic Quadrant, where Conga landed in the Challengers quadrant while its newly acquired PROS business was independently recognized as a Leader — different analyst firms, different evaluation windows, and a company genuinely mid-integration, which is a reasonable explanation for the two assessments not yet fully agreeing with each other.
For buyers, the practical lesson is less about which analyst firm to trust and more about timing: evaluating a vendor immediately after a major acquisition or product-line merger means evaluating a platform that is, by definition, still being integrated, and reference calls with recent customers matter more than usual in that specific window.
